Shari serves as Elevex’s Chief Risk Officer where she is committed to steering strong credit policy and portfolio growth. With over thirty years of experience in the industry, she has predominantly been focused in the areas of risk management, credit underwriting, and portfolio management. She maintained prior risk leadership roles at GE Capital, Sumitomo Mitsui Leasing and Finance, and Nexseer Capital, where she served as the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Capital Markets. Most recently, she served as the Chief Risk Officer at SLR Equipment Finance. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Fairfield University and earned her MBA in Finance from Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business. She serves as an active member of the Charles F. Dolan Finance Advisory Council and was appointed to Fairfield University’s Alumni Board of Directors. Shari maintains an unwavering dedication to mentorship and advocacy of the equipment leasing and financing industry. She actively serves on the board of trustees for the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation (ELFF), as well as its Academic Outreach Committee and Scholarship Review Subcommittee. Recognized for her leadership and influence, the Monitor named her one of the Top Women in Equipment Finance in 2023.
