Paul Huidobro joined Elevex Capital in February as a Sales Representative, bringing extensive experience in originating equipment lease and finance opportunities for underserved businesses.
Paul began his career in Chicago at Boulevard Bank, completing a formal credit training program before entering the equipment leasing industry with LINC Financial. During his 12 years at LINC, he gained broad experience in underwriting, debt placement, asset management, and lease originations, including exposure to industry organizations such as AACFB, NEFA, and ELFA.
He later spent 11 years with Insight Financial, focusing on fair market value transactions for middle-market clients, followed by seven years representing multiple lessors to support high-growth businesses with ongoing equipment funding needs.
Paul holds both a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and an MBA from DePaul University.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys the outdoors—splitting time at his family’s vacation home in northern Wisconsin and staying active with skiing, biking, fishing, and mountain climbing. He resides in Sleepy Hollow, Illinois with his wife, children, and grandchildren nearby.
